Realistic Narrative is grounded in bottom-up therapy and neurodivergent care. We will work to dismantle systemic and internalized oppression. We actively challenge barriers upheld by the Mental Health Industrial Complex (MHIC) by fostering affirming, collaborative, and candid care. Surpassing the model of attempting to “treat” or “fix” people. We all have innate value, and it is imperative that this concept is welcomed into the therapeutic journey. This allows us to view the intersectional experiences and various individual support needs a person might have.
